A cooperation protocol aimed at strengthening university-industry cooperation between Balıkesir University and Matlı Group of Companies was signed by Balıkesir University Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu and Matlı Group of Companies Human Resources and Culture Director Şükrü Kurtuluş. The protocol signing ceremony, held at the Rectorate, was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Cevdet Avcıkurt, Prof. Dr. Murat Doğdubay, Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl, BAÜN Career Development Application and Research Center (KAGEM) Director and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Suat Kara, KAGEM deputy directors, and Matlı Group of Companies officials.
The protocol aims to enable Balıkesir University students to gain knowledge and experience in the industrial sector through technical trips, seminars, conferences, and sectoral information meetings coordinated by BAÜN KAGEM, and allows students to undertake mandatory and voluntary internships within the Matlı Group of Companies.
Following the protocol signing ceremony, Balıkesir University Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu and Şükrü Kurtuluş, Human Resources and Culture Director of Matlı Companies Group, expressed their hope that the collaboration would be beneficial for both institutions and the students.
