Career Journey in the Tourism Sector: Expectations, Realities, and Different Paths Panel

As part of Tourism Week (April 15-22), a panel titled "Career Journey in the Tourism Sector: Expectations, Realities, and Different Paths" was held on April 22, 2026, hosted by the Faculty of Tourism at Balıkesir University, in collaboration with the Balıkesir Governorship, the Rectorate of Balıkesir University, the Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, the Faculty of Tourism, the Tourism Application and Research Center, and the Career Development Application and Research Center.

The panel speakers, Çetin Pehlivan, Burcu Gürol, and Gürcan Karadut, all graduates of the Faculty of Tourism, shared their professional experiences and insights on the Career Journey in the Tourism Sector, moderated by Ayça Bilgin, also a graduate of the Faculty of Tourism.
