BAUN KAGEM - IITC Factory Career Organization Completed Successfully
The "IITC Factory Career Organization" event, a collaboration between Balıkesir University's Career Development Research and Application Center (KAGEM) and Balıkesir University's International Information and Technology Community (IITC), was held at Balıkesir University on October 14-17, 2024.
Prof. Dr. Suat KARA, Director of BAÜN KAGEM, delivered the opening remarks. He emphasized the importance of the events and the importance of lifelong education to the students attending the event, emphasizing the benefits of pursuing and participating in training programs that will contribute to their academic and professional development.
Following the opening remarks, Hakan Yüksek, CEO of YDM and Bursa Teknik Automotive Glass (BTC), delivered a presentation on "Lean Production." On the second day of the event, representatives from Nestlé, Netlog Logistics, BAGİAD, Yörsan, Best, BTC, BALOSB, and human resources managers provided informative presentations to the students. The event, which featured interactive participation from panelists and students, concluded with an interactive human resources panel titled "New Z," which discussed the new era of business life and employment planning for Generation Z. On the third day of the event, Earthquake Expert and Master Architect Yoshinori Moriwaki gave a conference titled "Earthquake Awareness," where he shared information on conscious earthquake preparation and presented examples from Turkey and Japan. On the fourth day of the event, students from the Renault Group Oyak Horse team received "Automotive Training" from the Faculty of Engineering, led by Master Mechanical Engineer and Horse Validation Synthesis Leader Cihan Ürüt; Metallurgical and Materials Engineer and Horse Function Project Leader Numan Berke Koşun; and Mechanical Engineer and Horse Quality Analyst Osman Öztürk.
