A Cooperation Protocol was Signed Between BAÜN KAGEM and Uyumsoft Information Systems and Technologies
Balıkesir University Career Development, Application, and Research Center (BAUN KAGEM) continues to support Balıkesir University students in their internships, employment, and career paths.
A cooperation protocol has been signed between Balıkesir University and Uyumsoft Information Systems and Technologies Inc. The signing ceremony, held in the Rectorate Boardroom, was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cevdet Avcıkurt; Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) and Director of BAUN KAGEM Prof. Dr. Suat Kara; Uyumsoft Uyum Academy Unit Manager Lokman Tarık Dağ; and BAUN KAGEM Assistant Directors Dr. Yasemin Tekin and Lecturer Özlem Erdil Toraman.
The signed protocol aims to provide internships to undergraduate students studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, Industry, and related departments at Balıkesir University, as part of a university-industry collaboration. The software internship group participating in the Summer Internship School will receive training in C#, ASP.NET, and SQL, while the industry internship group will receive certified training in LioxERP's Financial Affairs, Materials Logistics, Production, and Human Resources Management modules.
At the protocol signing ceremony, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cevdet Avcıkurt shared his views and thoughts. He expressed his hope that this protocol, which is crucial for developing university-industry and university-industry collaborations, will be beneficial for both institutions and Balıkesir. He also congratulated the institution officials on the signing of the protocol. Dean of BAUN Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and BAUN KAGEM Director Prof. Dr. Suat KARA stated that the internship school, which will be opened with the signed protocol, is the second summer internship school opened in collaboration with Uyumsoft. Students who attend the internship school will have a head start on their professional lives thanks to the certified training they will receive. Lokman Tarık DAĞ, Head of the Uyumsoft Uyum Academy Unit, stated that the necessary support will be provided by their institutions to ensure the employment of successful students who attend the internship school, and that Uyumsoft's software will be used licensed and free of charge in courses offered at Balıkesir University.
